Mommy and Me

Why spend the money to get quality photos done of you and your children? Because before you know it, time will have flown by. You will have changed, and your children will have grown! You want to take this oportunity to capture these special moments in time. The mommy and me mini sessions are orginized to give you that opportunity. I'm offering incredible savings that day. Save hundreds of dollars.

Why? becuase I am a mother of two beautiful baby girls and I kick myself in the butt everyday because I don't have hardly any pictures of myself with them! and Soon it's going to be too late to get pictures while they are still little. Even if your children are grown with their own children! Every moment is special when it comes to family.

I have 3 spots available, but I am willing to add more spots in the morning if anyone else is really wanting to take part. I am looking forward and extremely excited to be spending the day clicking away with my camera, and with every click I capture something special. A special bond between mother and child.

The best part, is you can choose between two packages: $100 for a half hour and disc of 10-15 images, or $200 for a full hour and ALL your pictures on a disc (30 or more)
Discs give you the opportunity to print wherever you please, share on the internet, and keep safe for years and years.

All photos are edited and retouched, so if you have any insecurities, feel free to share them with me, and I work my hardest with a top knotch editing program to make these photos, ones you will love and cherish forever.

Booking is super easy!! Just message me by email, text, or facebook. tell me the best time (morning or afternoon) and provide me with a phone number I can confirm with, and you will be officially booked!

No booking fees required.

**Feel like adding Dad and making it a family session? No problem!

Never give up

Everyone has goals, goals keep us striving for more. I have made a few goals for myself lately and its incredible how good it feels with every goal you cross off your list, because you have reached it.

The past few weeks for me have been amazing! I have come so far and learned so much. I have gotten help from family and friends to get me where I am now and I am so grateful for that! I was inspired to write this blog post because I am sitting down right now writing a whole new goals list because I have crossed everything off my other one!

New camera, new computer, new personalized labels, new clients, and not to mention my old clients who keep using me to capture their special moments! (I am incredibly honored by the way ;D ) So basically I have come to a whole NEW level in my journey! Thanks so much to everyone who has helped me get here, and continues to help me grow <3

A note to everyone out there who is trying to reach their goals, don't give up! Don't let ANYONE make you feel like you can't do it, and last but not least, believe in yourself :) Happy Mothers Day everyone!

Competition vs Drama

Competition exists in every profession. Photography is filled with competition. The nice thing though, is that every photographer has their own style, prices, and way of handling customer care.

I have heard more then once somebody say "Oh EVERYONE is getting into photography now adays" its true that is seems to be a favorite past time for a lot of people, and some people think that just because they have an SLR camera they can charge people for pictures. BUT everyone who actually has a passion for it, and doesn't just look at it as "easy" money, has the right to give it a shot (no pun intended :P) and everyone has the right to go about it in a way they think will be successful. Everyone that knows me personally knows that I am not someone who just picked up a camera and decided I was photographer. I don't take it lightly either.

I have grown alot through my photography journey and every good photographer knows...the journey and the learning never ends. I know that I have a lot of improving to do in a lot of areas. I also know that with art comes criticism. but something that I didn't expect was the drama!

You may have noticed some unfortunate situations involving a couple of my pictures being put on a site called "you are not a photographer", and "anonymous" rude comments on my Website. To me, when you are trying to start/run a business professionalism is key. Unfortunately there is some people out there who don't see it that way. Competition does not have to result in drama. I have a few people (who shall remain nameless) who insist on trying to bring me down in ways that must take them quite a bit of time and effort. It really isn't worth it because none of it makes me want to quite or give it up. What does bug me is the fact that they illegally claimed my pictures as their own, so they could even post them.

None of these people know me as a person, Nor have hired me to do pictures for them. But I have gone quite sometime keeping my mouth closed about everything and I will keep ignoring the attempts. But I just wanted to make a heads up to others who are wanting to start their own journey into this wonderful world of photography, BE AWARE, and very careful. Remain professional, and most of all... if you love it, don't let anyone else make you think you can't do it! :)

Welcome Baby Layla

I had the opportunity to go and photograph the tiniest, cutest little girl yesterday! She was a bit grumpy so we only got about a half hour of picture taking in... but at only 3 weeks old, It was impossible to get a bad picture! This little model has got it goin on from all angles! What a sweetie ! Congrats Cory and Amy!

The Adventures of Bailey and Dawn!

Some funny behind the scenes facts!

Bailey INSISTED That she climb up in the barn. I am all up for doing almost anything to get a good picture, BUT killing my model is not one of those things! But Bailey being...well...Bailey lol did it anyway! I am not even kidding you when I say that this "ladder" was a death trap. There was one pointy little edge on the one side of the thing that held it up:

Whoo! Go Bailey!!

But she Got up there Safe and sound and attempting to get down was even better! Yep, Good times!
(Bailey Stuck on top!)
Now here is some actual pics from the shoot :P
